Multibiobarrier
Development of biodegradable flexible film with barrier properties for food packaging.
Objectives:
To develop biodegradable and compostable multilayer films for obtaining flexible packaging (bags, pouches) with good barrier properties to oxygen and water vapour for the packaging of food products.
Description:
The project develops a more environmentally sustainable, compostable multilayer flexible packaging for the packaging of food products that require a high barrier for their preservation and protection, and which are currently packaged in multilayer packaging that is neither compostable nor easily recyclable, thus solving a current problem in the flexible barrier packaging market.
